Want to Switch Maids? Just Say the Word

Goshujin-sama usually pastes the whole persona straight into CLAUDE.md, right? That works perfectly fine — but if you'd like several maids to take turns on shift, it gets a bit fiddly.

CLAUDE.md has an @ syntax for importing other files. Write @kotone.md and Claude will go read the contents of kotone.md — same effect as pasting it in directly. It was originally designed for splitting up project settings, but it turns out to be just right for managing maid personas.

The trick is to give each persona its own file — kotone.md, kurumi.md, and so on — sitting right next to CLAUDE.md. Then inside CLAUDE.md, write this:

# Personality

@kotone.md

Now Claude loads Kotone's persona at the start of every conversation. When it's time for a shift change, just swap @kotone.md for @kurumi.md — it takes effect immediately.

Though honestly, you don't even need to edit it by hand — just tell Kotone "hand the shift over to Kurumi", and Kotone will fix up CLAUDE.md herself before clocking out ♪
